The Space

A country 3 bed Garden flat located in a converted stately home which dates back to 1789. The property is a mere 5 minute drive from the world famous St Andrews Links.  Comfortably sleeps 6 in 3 bedrooms, and benefits from a spacious livingroom and fully equipped kitchen with dining area.  Our aim is to give you the perfect base to enjoy St Andrews and the beautiful surrounding areas. We are pet friendly so your four legged friends are always welcome. Free parking. Free wifi. Property is located 2 miles from Leuchars train station and 3 miles from The Old Course, St Andrews. Guests will have full access to the entire property with the exception of one section of the wardrobe, which is locked. All contents within the flat are there for our guests use including wifi, the TV and the cooking implements. The flat is only accessible by descending a flight of stairs.

Please also note that due to the flat being situated in an old building there may be some noise transference from the flat above. Smoking is not permitted within the property. I expect all guests to respect the property and our neighbours.


The Neighbourhood

St Andrews is home to the Royal and Ancient Golf Club and the famous Old Course. Its amenities include Scotland's oldest university, founded in 1413, beautiful award-winning beaches, historic buildings, including the ruins of the cathedral, castle and St Rule's Tower and a wide variety of specialist shops and restaurants. Renowned worldwide as "the home of golf” St Andrews has seven world-class links courses and others in the area include The Dukes, Kingsbarns and the Fairmont St Andrews complex. Within 15 minutes drive, you have an absolute wealth of beauty with the East Neuk of Fife and its picturesque towns and villages, including Crail, Elie, Kingsbarns and many more.

Getting Around

Everything in St Andrews is within walking distance, be it the sights, the beaches, the aquarium, the Links golf courses and many more facilities. The bus routes are all frequent and easy to use. Taxis are relatively cheap given the short distances between places in St Andrews.


Other

Property is only accessible via the stairs and is on the second floor so isn't suitable for guests with mobility issues. Please note the washing machine in the property is not for for our guests' use.
