The Space
Your family will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally-located house, which with 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, housing 3 doubles and 1 single bed, can comfortably sleep 7. With a large open plan kitchen/living room with dining area, and a secluded back garden, the house is located on a quiet street, with free ample on street parking, and located only a 5 minute walk to the town centre, making it ideal for families, holiday-makers and golfers alike. Free Wifi in the property. The house has its own entrance on the ground floor. The accommodation layout is as follows:
Ground Floor - Entrance hall leading to ground floor bedroom with double bed at the front of the property, a shower room with toilet, and an open plan fully equipped kitchen/living room with dining area at the rear, with patio doors leading out to the back garden. A second bathroom is located on the landing halfway up the stairs.
First Floor - One bedroom with a double bed and one bedroom with a single bed are located at the front of the building, while a fourth bedroom with a double bed is located at the rear. Guests will have full access to the entire property. No rooms will be off limits and all contents within the flat are there for our guests use including wifi, the TV and the cooking implements. Smoking is not permitted within the property. I expect all guests to respect the property and our neighbours. No pets are allowed.
The Neighbourhood
St Andrews is home to the Royal and Ancient Golf Club and the famous Old Course. Its amenities include Scotland's oldest university, founded in 1413, beautiful award-winning beaches, historic buildings, including the ruins of the cathedral, castle and St Rule's Tower and a wide variety of specialist shops and restaurants. Renowned worldwide as "the home of golf” St Andrews has seven world-class links courses and others in the area include The Dukes, Kingsbarns and the Fairmont St Andrews complex. Within 15 minutes drive, you have an absolute wealth of beauty with the East Neuk of Fife and its picturesque towns and villages, including Crail, Elie, Kingsbarns and many more.
Getting Around
Everything in St Andrews is within walking distance, be it the sights, the beaches, the aquarium, the Links golf courses and many more facilities. The bus routes are all frequent and easy to use. Taxis are relatively cheap given the short distances between places in St Andrews.
